Don the eel man

On Friday 22 march
Don came to teach us about eels
Don is a eel scientist and he cought a big female eel.
he is jack family friend..                       

These are some of the facts I Learnt

• Eels can swim back.
• They have a good smell.
• They have arrow sharp teeth.
• They eat other eels.
• They are very small when they are grass eels.
• They spin around to get food.
• Eels eat crabs. their bottom turns red when they poo the crabs out.
• Eels eat ducklings.
• they grow slow in the wild.
• They have a lot of eggs.
• You will have to cut there head in half to cut there ear see how old they are.
• females long fin eels are the longest long fin eels.
